Charity - Charitable Organization Support
Although belief in the cause, be it cancer, dementia, paraplegic care, hospital, church etc., is first and foremost when it comes to inspiration for charitable giving, at some point the decision to give or not becomes a financial decision. While the charitable organizations can cultivate passion for the need, the skill to compassionately guide prospective donors through the financial aspects of the decision is often lacking or at times non-existent in the case of smaller not-for-profit organizations. Unfortunately, potential donors, that have warmed to the thought of giving, walk away because they have no idea what is possible even with modest means.
To fill this gap, as part of our mandate, we cultivate relationships, locally and provincially, with not-for-profit organizations. We work with these organizations to ensure they have the confidence that we have the sensitivity and empathy to tie the emotional support for the cause to a financial plan that makes giving possible.
We work with not-for-profit, charitable organizations as an extension of their fundraising activity. We work one-on-one with their referrals to show how they can give significantly without impact on their financial lives. We also conduct "how to" workshops and seminars for potential donors and staff alike. We stimulate fundraising activity by sensitively removing the financial barriers to giving.
